Home Base Setting




Hey my friend, if I tell you no matter how unbreakable home base setting or design  you have, your enemies can still able to sneak in and destroy your HQ. You may want to say “Are you kidding me, Hitman 007?”

In fact, I did not lie to you because this is the truth. Unless we cannot stop all invaders, but a well setting can able to block some attackers who have equal or lower level than your defenders effectively, or minimize the damage from their attacks.

Then what is the most puzzling aspect of the whole setting? In my opinion, these elements you should consider when placing defenders around your HQ.

First, you should better to know the attack range of each ground defense.


·         Guard Tower – 9.5 sq Tiles
·         Dome – 8.5 sq Tiles
·         Artillery – 4 to 10.5sq Tiles
·         Patriot – 12.5 sq Tiles
·         Railgun – 14.5 sq Tiles
·         Metal Rain – 14.5 sq Tiles


Key concept is: Gets long range units (Railgun, Patriot) closer to your HQ, then medium range units (Artillery), then short range units (Dome, Guard Tower), then places resource buildings and other facilities along the borders. In this order, your long, medium, and short range units can be able to attack enemies together once they entering into their ranges.




Overall players always use command strikes before deploy their armies into battlefields, and A-10 is the most common command strike weapon which can destroy large area. To avoid buildings being destroyed at once by A-10 bombing, leaving spaces in between buildings is absolutely necessary. Defenders need at least three to six tiles apart. (For both horizontal and diagonal) Resource and other facility buildings need separate at least two to three tiles away from each other. Don’t squeeze buildings together; I can take down all six stockpiles with one single A-10 hit, or all defenders which glued with HQ by two A-10 bombs. In this way I can just keep mowing down buildings which keeping my command points up to strike down even more other buildings. There is whole base area you can use and why don’t you spread them out?




Wisely building walls as obstacles to block or delay any direct attacks against HQ and some major defenders. Or use walls to redirect enemies, make them unable to maneuver comfortably in the battlefield. Placing landmines and shock mines at some main entrances where enemies always step in.

Many traps can be set for the enemy troops, like placing commando, stealth tank rally flag units near by domes or patriots to help against air strikes. Hiding defense units behind big trees is also a strategically thoughtful manner. Therefore, you’d better to keep all these big trees, they are your buddies.

Always think way in revise direction, when puzzling aspect of the whole base. As a attacker, what elements you like to see the most and what you hate the most? Then just simple apply everything you passionately dislike as your defenses. Watching replays from clip board also can tell what problems you possible have in defense. If enemies mostly came from one particular direction to start their attacks, that mean your defense from that part might be fragiler than the others. Then you may need to adjust your layout or make stronger defense on that area to patch your flaws.

Alliance War




Hey clans, we are going to fight and win our wars...   


Any alliance has minimum 10 fighters can team up to fight alliance wars. Similar to the world map missions, you get into global map and look for any open opponent to attack. However, this time, you have no longer against computerized Player vs Environment missions; it substituted with some real enemies, where team players from the outside alliances.

All members who join alliance war will be noticed by a war preparation message. Once the war count down timer was set then you will have 24 hours to prepare the war. During this time, you can do any activity you usually do, upgrade defenders, donate troops to you allies, purchase and build special weapons from war factory, or change the layout of your home base for your best defense.

Now you can able to access the alliance war world map to scout your opponent bases, during this 24 hours preparation period. You may want to make yourself a note to drop down which few targets that you prossibly want to attack. Since you only have about 15 minutes strike force boosting effects on weapon command and attacking troops, then you might not have enough time to take down two enemy bases with both scouting and attacking. Does it make you any sense?


Just remember one thing; at the end of the preparation time your war base is saved and all setting change at your home base will not against your war base side. For example, if you forget to put Ion Canon at your home base before war then you will not see it in your war base to help your base protection. However, you can still place Ion Canon into your home base after the war begin, it will still give you one free orbits strike for your war base attacks.

Now you hear about home base and war base. What is difference?

Home base is where you builds, upgrades and grows in daily basis. In alliance war, home base acts as offenses that you need to maximum your offensive power to destroy opponent war bases. Therefore, applying strike forces in weapon command building to get extra command points and in your troops to boost their ability for fighting are totally necessary, before deploy them into any alliance war battlefields. Using war factory items such as Ion Canon and Bonus Command Points will also increase your chance of flags winning. 

On the other hand, war base only exists in world map during alliance war period. It works exactly as same as your home base. Before war time begin, any changes made in home base will also changed in war base. Only one exception: Almost every player should know the defensive buildings will be disable during upgrade process in home base, right? However, in war base side it will work property unless it will only serve you as its previous level before upgrade. So be careful, all defensive buildings will be present in alliance wars!




War base in alliance war acts as defenses. So make sure you have maximum defensive power applied on it. Everyone should get into your own war base during the 24 hours preparation period, to assign command strikes into your defensive buildings. Don't worry, these command strikes will not be expired till the end of war. In addition, I will usually placed Ion Canon into my home base in last minute before war, to confuse the attackers who has scanned my base before then. If you have enough war factory components to purchase Domed Defense Alpha Configuration at war factory then go ahead to use them. Setup DDAC in several domes (I called it disco party) can effectively stop some invaders because DDAC will attack both air and ground units.

Therefore, you need to assign command strikes TWO times at each alliance war. One time assigns to buildings at war base during preparing before war begin. And the second time assign to your weapon  command building and attacking troops before moving your units into the alliance war battles.





Once the alliance war begin, participants have one day to launch TWO attacks against the enemies no matter you win or loose these two battles. System will usually assign an recommended target to you; however, any undefeated opponent bases are freely to select. Plus there are no matching HQ level limitation, so attacks against all HQ level opponents in alliance war world map is absolutely possible; unless you can hunt them down to get all three flags from them.

Moreover, there one important rule in alliance war is whichever alliance maxed out the flags first then they are the winner, no matter how many mistakes they made in their battles. Therefore, more sooner to attack then more chance to get victory.

At the end of the Alliance War, you may view the results  from the war logs and replay the most successful attack against each base. Alliance War loot will be delivered to your gift inbox. Winning the war rewards significantly more loot. Loosing team will also receive small amount of loot that depend on how many percent of war it completed. 

Note: You don’t lose medals or resources from alliance war attacks.
